I remember they played Woodstock and caused a riot. They asked them to keep it calm but they did the opposite whole place went ape shit. That's the kind of band they were.

It was years before I heard about that. After watching the Woodstock 99 show on Netflix though, it very much comes across that it was the organisors that caused a hell of a lot of the problems and essentially was the reason for everyone to lose it. Crazy documentary to be honest.
I think the guy who put the festival on looked back in hindsight and said that if he could change anything he would have put some mellow bands between the mad ones so people wouldn't get too riled up.
Poor aul Gavin from Bush trying to calm the baying mob was hilarious.
Hahaha, I thought it was mad near the end when the Red Hot Chilis were told to tell them to stop, so they just did a cover of Fire, while the place was being burned down.
Insanity. I actually might watch it again.
One of the organisers is an Irish lad from Kilkenny. Was news to me but he's there ..doesn't say much in it .
