Live streaming on BlurtMedia:
- Decide on a regular schedule that is realistic for you to keep too. Once or twice a week, day or month at a specific time.
- Set up a recurring live on Blurt.Media
- Put those keys into OBS Studio and save it. They wont change. Also while in OBS Studio set it up to automatically start recording when you hit the start streaming button. I will go over setting up OBS Studio in a different video.
- Pimp out your scheduled date and time with the link to where your stream will be. Try to do this at least a week in advance. Doing it this way net you more rewards in the long run. You can also use this to hone into specifically what your audience wants to see through the comments on those posts. It will also allow your audience more time to make themselves available for the stream.
- Do your best to not be late to your own stream or reschedule. People like punctuality and regularity.
- When you do go live dont just tear into the content immediately. Wait and make small talk for about 10-15 minutes to allow people to show up. Play some music, etc. Have a banner or something saying "stream is starting soon" or something similar. This way when people hop on they know you arent just being stupid and wasting time.
- Dont forget to talk. Even when nobody is watching. In fact dont even look at the number of viewers. Just dont do it. Pretend their is people there if you have to. Just do a fun and entertaining live stream.
HAPPY BLURTING!
