The fire's cracklin', the cocoa's hot,
Got the tinsel and lights, give it all we got.
The scent of pine fills the room, oh so sweet,
As we gather 'round to trim the tree.
[Chorus]
Trimming the tree, oh, it’s a family affair,
Laughter in the air, love everywhere.
Ornaments gleaming, the star’s yet to go,
Winter’s here, and it’s starting to show.
[Verse 2]
Grandpa's humming, the bass hums along,
Little ones giggle, they can’t stay wrong.
Boxes of memories, unwrapped with care,
Each one’s a story we’re eager to share.
[Prechorus]
Oh, the snow outside, it glistens bright,
Inside, we’re warm, wrapped in the night.
[Chorus]
Trimming the tree, oh, it’s a family affair,
Laughter in the air, love everywhere.
Ornaments gleaming, the star’s yet to go,
Winter’s here, and it’s starting to show.
[Bridge]
Out in the snow, we made a few tales,
Slipping, sliding, leaving frosty trails.
Blogging our fun for the world to see,
But nothing beats this—trimming the tree.
