I also hate those sounds, though we have eradicated them from our surroundings. We have an intruder, a wild cat that visits our home every night, making any prey quiet, hehe.

A cat!
In my current hood, we have cats too but they always come out at night. They don't make the sound, they disappear immediately they notice someone approaching them.
Those a wild cats, not the ones they keep as pets😂
