Moon dreams

I've seen quite a few people recently musing over how things would be like if Hive was x amount of dollars or how plausible is for Hive to become a top 10 coin according to market cap, and other ponderings of this sort. The funny thing is I've been doing this almost every day for a few months now, and it feels good knowing that others are doing it as well and I'm not a totally loony bin ( no guarantees about that last bit though :P ).

While all this optimism is nice and the fact Hive has stabilize over the 50 cent mark is even nicer, I still think that anything under $1 is not good for the blockchain long term because it just means we are continuing to fly under the radar and we are getting very little exposure. The optimist in me is thinking that we still have almost 4 months of the year left and that $1 target might become peanuts in comparison to were we end up price-wise.

I'll keep the pessimistic stuff to myself for now, there will be plenty of time to be a Debbie Downer when the inevitable bear market knows on the door :)

I don't know what it is so slow, this is crypto supposed to be for fast money.

Maybe you should start printing HIVE while you wait, I just noticed this that it's quite profitable. lol

You go in the wallet, I use peakd, and click on your liquid HIVE and click Convert to HBD.

Then after you get your HBD you can start selling half of it for more than you just paid to convert it. You take the HBD and sell it on the internal HIVE / HBD market. Rinse and repeat. As long as HBD is over 1.05 it's profitable. The Higher HBD is the more profitable.

Ohh okay! I have seen some people do it, but I didn't know the numbers when it was a good idea! I will do some, thanks :D

Also, why not sell all of the HBD but only half?

I do sell it all, b ut they give you half up front, and the other half 3 days later. I just use limit orders and wait for the HBD pumps.

Yeah I know because I been waiting over 5 years for it to go to 10k from steem days. STEEM really messed us up, but I guess HIVE is still relatively new, so gonna give it another 5 years I guess at least. You think it will hit 10 in 5 years more??

I'd be happy with a bottom of $1 for starters, and peaks of $2 or $3. I don't want it to go to the moon for a few weeks and then scrape the bottom for 4 years :)

(Edited)

Last I checked, the price had hit the $1 board. I hope it keeps increasing.
