Working sucks

I consider myself to be a lazy clown even though I go to work everyday, do the normal daily chores, and other stuff that requires effort. Why do I consider myself lazy then? because I would rather spend my time traveling the world and drinking pina coladas on the beach surrounded by hot chicks. So I have to mentally drag myself to work every day and also talk myself into doing all sorts of stuff I don't feel like. Definitely takes a toll on the old couple of remaining brain cells.

However finding that there is a whole subreddit dedicated to bitching and moaning about working called r/antiwork makes me almost jealous that people were able to take this to a whole new level of complaining and cycle jerking, all the while I was considering myself kind of a champion of debbie downers . This little movement blew up after an interview on Fox News where a stereotypical reddit mod tried to explain what they are all about. The problem is how the whole thing looked to the casual observer: a harry dude living with what appears to be some sort of mess in the background, which is also a professional dog walker ( talk about a promising career for a 30 year old) complaining about how work sucks. Pretty crappy optics if you ask me.

Going beyond the memes he brings up some good points about working conditions, decent pay and stuff but it all gets glossed over by how meme-able it all looks. You can find the interview on youtube of course.

Wish Hive would have this kind of mass media exposure, I mean heck, I can complain about stuff like the best of them, I can even give crappy interviews if that what it takes :P
