Meme Coin Summer Portfolio Week 5 | The Hat Stays On !
Market Volatility!
Tha pace at which this memecoin market is going up and down is quite insane and if I would have made this report just a day ago everything looked green and mooning while right now everything is down again as Bitcoin took a small dip. I continue to believe in the scenario that retail isn't here just yet when when they start coming, a lot of their money will come flowing into Memecoins creating a positive feedback loop with prices going bonkers (at least on some of them). So I continue to learn and add to my positions until I reach a portfolio size of at least 10k. I do fully understand everything could go to zero and I'm willing (and able ) to take that risk.
I did buy just 1 new coin last week (ANON) which I had an eye on for a while at the moment I saw that it was going to be shilled in an upcoming youtube video from a big channel. So I bought a bit more with an eye to potentially reduce my entry price selling part of my position on a dump. I do feel that I'm getting a better hang on short term pumps and dumps even though I still need to work on proper execution. I do plan to do some more short-term buying and selling going forward.
New Portfolio Additions
This is a coin created by the founder of pump.fun, some crypto twitter guys and YouTubers already mentioned it while it is below a 1 Million Market Cap which are the coins that tempt me the most.
It pumped the day after I bought 300k and I sold 50k of them during that pump to reduce my extry cost. From here on out I just plan to hold hoping it gets a real pump at some point in time.
Portfolio Trades
I bought 1000 Ponke 2 weeks ago for 50$ purely on the chart which continued exactly as anticipated with a pump to the resistance line where I last week took profit selling my entire position for 200$. Now I'm waiting to buy back at the moment the chart flattens out again or when it hits the support line.
Current Holdings
I like Benji as the coin to potentially unite Swifties in crypto and was glad to have added on my position as the 500k marketcap pumped to 1.5M at some point. I have no intentions of selling this one anytime soon unless it becomes too big of a dominance in my portfolio. At some point last week this was my biggest memecoin position. The community is still active and they also got a new twitter account @BenjiTSwift. Patience will be key on this one.
I bought back the 600k USUG after taking good profit on it during the previous pump. I do see this as one of those nano market cap coins that at any time can get a big pump either due to influencers shilling it or just people getting into it because it's funny. I've done well on this coin so far even if it would go to zero.
The 3 coins that I added last week HAPPI / TREN / SIXPACK are now higher compared to what I paid for them despite the general market being down.
BASE Chain Meme Coins
I only added a tiny bit to my BRETT position and aim to get that to 10k, I also likely will get my Basenji position to 5000 as the chart seems to be at a support level.
I'm also eying to get a small position in Keycat on Base in case it would complete the Head & Shoulders Pattern

Conclusion
The Ups & Downs continue to be quite big which makes it fun and interesting. I continue to be in a mode where I'm building up this portfolio being fine in case everything would go to zero. If anyone has some coins to shill, feel free to do so in the comments!Posted Using InLeo Alpha
