Thinking of the credit score meme I had my credit card denied for renewal which was odd and was most likely for lack of usage because I just did not need it. Surely you would rather people who could afford their credit card bills actually having your card for the odd occasion they might use it. I would like one now that I am travelling again shortly more for convenience than necessity.

that is the only thing I think that I would use a CC for but even then it would only be for international travel. Exchanging money is a pain and especially at airports they really rip you off over it.
Yes it is only for convenience and nothing else.
