Thinking Hardcore mode is too hard for Escape from tarkov, So i made my own harder mode :)

Hello there, i like a lot of pain inducing people play a game call Escape from tarkov

But i can already hear a lot of you asking WHAT IS ESCAPE FROM TARKOV

Well Escape from Tarkov is a multiplayer tactical first-person shooter video game in development by Battlestate Games for PC gaming,
The game is set in the fictional Norvinsk region in northwestern Russia, where a war is taking place between two private military companies (United Security "USEC" and the Battle Encounter Assault Regiment "BEAR"). Players join matches called "raids" in which they fight other players and bots for loot and aim to survive and escape.

This plays like an extract game where anything you take into raid you could lose, and without the classic assistance of the game to show where to go and who is an enemy, communication with teammate is a MUST!"
But at the same time while hunting PMCs and scavs (bots) you have to weigh the looting you do, do you risk weighing yourself down for the 2 modded guns you want and being easy prey or being quick and light and just surviving with more experience points. It one of the complex things you need to weigh up every time you play this game

With this game every time there is a major update they do a "wipe", and this involves reseting all the players progress and this normally happens once every 6 months roughly. and this is why

Now a lot of the pro's at this game have made a self imposed challenge every wipe called "HARDCORE MODE" which is self restriction from most of the traders.

Now the main problem with this is i feel it is too hard and when it too hard it not as fun so what is the happy medium.

So i decided to make this mode as a halfway point between the two, as i feel having the options available but with penalties is a nice incentive

Rules for Harder mode on Escape from tarkov

1) No selling items to any trader but fence, this includes selling on the flea market
(this means that any item i get in raid that i want to sell i have to send to fence for the cash and cannot take advantage of flea market selling markets at all)

2) any item worth over 100k cannot be sold, it can be traded for items but not sold directly (moonshine,Bitcoin) or even weapons as a whole but can be broken down into parts to be sold
(So if an item is worth more then 100k i cannot sell it, i can use it in trades with traders, or store it so i guess im gonna have a surplus of items, this would include the use of scav case hunts this is allowed)

3) Can buy from traders normally including ammo weapons and keys etc
(this is so i can level up traders as normal but i will try and just get items ingame whereever possible)

4) can use the flea to buy items but they have to be in the more expensive area so example if 24 pages of items can buy only from page 23 or above, or if say 50 items on flea i can only buy from 40th -45th costly items
(this is done to encourage finding the items ingame but allows me to get an item that i can't get if that ends up being the case without costing a lot more then usual)

5) No changing of daily/weekly tasks, what i get is what i have to attempt to do
(after lvl 10 you gain access to daily and weekly missions but you can change these for cash and -rep with the trader, so this is not gonna be an option while i do this)

6) Punisher part 6 needs to be done as a minimum but kappa is an aim
(this is middle way thorough the game and would unlock a secure case 2x4 for the player to keep items safe in a raid, but the kappa case is the one everyone wants to get)

7) LVL 50 must be achieved
(this Level is pretty much where 95% of everything is unlocked and ready to be played, and it seems like a good level to be at as a minimum)

8) By the end of the wipe i must have collected
100 million rubles
500k euros
1 million dollars
In that order if i have 100 mill of rubles i can use the spare to buy additional euros and then with the excess of euros i can buy dollars with the euros
This is the main aim of the harder mode, as the story i have regarding this is that the PMC you play as uses the 100mil rubles to get beyond the border, the 500k euros to purchase various Fake ID's , checking Swiss accounts and a plane ticket to the states, with the 1 million dollars used to buy some retirement free from tarkov.

9) The point system is a separate tracker of my gaming progress but the aim of that system is to get 10,000 points overall
(this is kind of a tracking system that counts in the whole factors at the end to see how well i did in that particular wipe and will be updated daily,
also depending on the update and stats records will change numbers as when i can )

(This is more of a twitch rule, but anyone wants to make it harder for me well it costly :D)
