Countdown to the Morning

This is just a simple countdown, to when I need to get up.
I have alarms set but I figured, 'why not make a countdown?'
Today I am grateful that I didn't have to drive,
but I still have over a thousand kilometers left to travel
this weekend, on snow and ice, at dangerous speeds.
