5 eliminations, only 5% accuracy, 914 damage dealt, 334 damage taken, 39 hits, 7km travelled!

Using a combination of vehicles, stealth, and persistence I managed to pull another victory crown!!

Near the end of the season, everyone is sweaty. And you gotta be quick on your feet, use all the mythics, not get caught unaware and never give up when you are in an impossible situation. Yes you lose, life is a struggle. You cannot stop fighting for that victory! And as soon as you win it you can lose that crown. Easy come, easy go. I managed to win two crowns today, but not consecutively.

Eliminations

I took the first one out in the diner with an assault rifle--

in close combat, and eliminated on the staircase.

The next opponent I found in the flower fields

back in the recycler, guns and ammo left for the bees!

My third opponent had the high ground,

I broke their sheild, and then put some distance between us.

Then I ejected them from the game with my bumper.

Multiple opponents arrived at the final circle ready for a battle.

A lot of chaos in a short period of time, watching your back and bouncing around.

Shooting and building and reloading... trying to reload... switching weapons... shooting again, trying not to get shot-- never stop!

Everyone doing their best to shoot and not get shot, using their various boons and powers and specials to outwit and outmaneuver eachother.

Until at last I have the upper hand and show off my Burst Pistol

This final battle was intense, I had no health and ammo left in only one gun.

At this point with nothing left to lose, with no heals in sight, all I can do is defeat the final opponent! She has a scoped rifle but I have dual pistols good for close quarters.

Bullets flying, each weapon being exhausted and switching to the next, every jump cancelling reloads but there's no hiding when only 2 remain.

Both of us quick on our feet and dodging shots from one another. A formidable opponent! Like a dance, back and forth jumping and dodging.

She pushed me into the storm, and I managed to push her back and finish from above. Time for a victory dance to celebrate!! Success~

This brings my victory royales to 1415, solid 8.1% win ratio, 1.31 k/d is nothing impressive, but 21,050 kills blows my mind. I am nearly at 4000 hours of gameplay, thats 333.333 twelve hour days, dedicated to improving my skills.

I didn't start out like this. I thought Fortnite was dumb because kids didn't go to the bathroom. When I dove in the first time, I didn't understand, broke a roof, then got eliminated. I stopped playing for 8 months because my computer literally blew up in my face. When my computer was repaired and I started playing again, some kids called me "Dogwater" and "Literally Trash Bro", I decided I should improve my skills.

Over the past few years I have enjoyed the escape from the Facebook feed, facing 100 opponents each match, testing my skills against NPC bosses like Wolverine, Iron Man, Dr Doom, Shredder, even earning my own Mandalorian Skins, fighting and becoming Godzilla, and looking forward to Winterfest over Christmas. Fortnite is doing so many things right, and I have become a sweat by accident.

It's also been a way to hang out with friends virtually when all we seem to do these days is work and stay home. But it doesn't last forever, and one of our teammates passed away last week in a tragic accident. This hit me extra hard, realizing that we only have so much time on this Earth, and we should accept those invites to play because it might be the last chance we get.

This was the last victory screenshot I shared with him, he's not even in it. Make sure to spend time with your friends, however you are able to. Life is precious and every win celebrated together is meaningful.
