Rewards for Season 73 ~ The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Hello and Greetings, Splinterlanders! I hope you are all having a wonderful and fantastic day.

Another season has come and gone. I know all of you are now enjoying your season rewards. Me too! Let's have a brief look at what I won, including a few thoughts.

Let's get started!

Final league placement

I spent most of the season in Gold I. I wanted to maximize my rental gains, so I stayed in a lower league so that I could rent out more. A few days before the end of the season, I took enough cards off the market that my CP rose enough to allow me to enter Diamond III and that's where I finished.

Next, that brings us to the what you all came for...

Season Rewards

Nothing amazing, but there were some nice cards in there. The Gargoya Lion GF is pretty sweet. Well, any gold card is pretty sweet. A few rares and epics in there. I don't play Lava Launcher a lot, but it's a pretty good card. Also, great to get a CL pack!

Final Thoughts

Taken all together, that comes to $4.18.

Value-wise, not too great. I mean 4 bucks is 4 bucks, better than nothing, but also not anything to write home about. Most of the time I get more than that from a single Hive post.

At the same time, a lot of good cards, so long-term this may end up being worth a lot more. In the meantime I can rent them out, as well.

Also, let's be honest, the thrill of watching the chests open is pretty fun.
