Hello and welcome to Praise and Worship Week 70! My name is @deky01, and in this week's concert, I'll be singing a cover of "Calling My Name (I'm a Soldier Live)" by Ebuka.

The theme of the week is Commitment, and I'll try as much as I can to relate commitment to my choice of song, "I'm a Soldier."

Commitment simply refers to a devotion to something or a cause. It can also be seen as an obligation that restricts certain actions.

The song "I'm a Soldier" is a song that talks about a commitment to God. According to the lyrics, the songwriter is affirming that he is a soldier of God, waiting for God's command, waiting for the Lord Almighty to tell him what to do and what not to do. He will obey as soon as he hears the voice of the Lord. He is a soldier on the battlefield who waits upon the voice of his commander (Jesus) to call his name, and when He calls his name, he will always answer and never get tired of God's call.

Being a Christian is a commitment to God Almighty, our Creator, who has laid down some set of rules for us to abide by and to follow. From the time of Moses, God gave His people the 10 Commandments to abide in: the commands to worship Him and only Him, commands not to steal and covet others' properties, and so on.

God is also looking for people who will preach His gospel to His creations who have not heard about Him, and also those who have lost their way in Christ. It is a mission God has given to His people, which is to win souls to Him and to have them being saved by His word through the blood of Jesus, giving them eternal salvation.
