Hello and welcome to Afritunes week 176. I am glad to have you visit my blog, my name is @deky01, and I will be singing the cover of “Messiah” by Solomon Lange in this week’s Afritunes weekly concert on the Hive blockchain.

Solomon Lange is a Nigerian Gospel minister, songwriter and music producer. He sings in both the English Language and the Hausa Language. He grew up in a town in Kaduna state, which is known as “wasa” and has been singing right from when he was still young, joining the Kale Vision Group in the year 1997 and was mentored by Evangelist Dapo. He got his early inspirations from the likes of R. Kelly, Panam Percy Paul and the likes of the WInnas family.

The song Messiah is a worship song that exults God as the “Messiah”. God sent His Beloved Son to come to die in place of us for our sin and for us to be born again without sin; that is why Jesus is called the Messiah, for He died that we may live and have eternal life. In the lyrics of the song, God was also called our healer. He has healed us from all our diseases and iniquities.
