One of the most abundant proteins in our blood is collagen. It provides the structural support to all the organ systems in our body. A decreased level of collagen may manifest as

  • Wrinkled, crepey, or saggy skin
  • Shrinking or weakening of muscles
  • Stiff and less flexible tendons and ligaments
