God knows what entails in the end, if such a society ever adopts a model that enforces censorship to be popular, and thus becometh the norm as it is happening in Hive while pretending it's not.
Historically, we have seen that not one company has not suffered greatly for adopting censorship enforced models. Name me one company that has profited greatly from censoring free speech.
If Hive does not come to a valid consensus amongst users about what censorship is and how it is being played out on certain front ends of hive, primarily the most popular ones such as peakd.com and hive.blog, I'm afraid overall it will....

Is this missing the word 'not' somewhere?
Censorship is clearly the reason that Hive is yet governed by the ninjamined stake and the oligarchs that mined it.

No it's not missing. My point was that companies/platforms as a whole don’t really profit from censorship, even if a few individuals within them do. Those powerful individuals will inevitably bring down hive generally unless someone comes and rescues it. Much like fed ok and twitter lost tons of money for years of censorship driving the overal market down substantially.
