If you get a leak just bring out the roll of stretchfilm/clingfilm and put another layer on Lol!!

I guess if you have the foil and want to build just a temporary shelter for one night, it might be easier to use this instead of gathering branches with leaves and so on...

Ha ha! We heat with wood, so a stove would always catch my eye! I don't imagine they would light that or they might just get more heat, albeit fast but short, heat! Take care my friend!
