RE: Mandatory Face Masks: Very Disgusting

I remember when my former job started making us wear masks, I didn't know if I could stand it. Unfortunately I did though...
Then it was July of 2020 and they said we could stop wearing masks IF vaccinated. I was not vaccinated, nor did I plan to be, and I stopped wearing the mask then.
But then masks came back, and I refused to wear it. For nearly a year I was in building with hundreds of people, and I was the only person without a mask, and no one said anything. It was amazing.
It was also ironic that as so many people were getting sick with Covid and missing work, I didn't wear a mask, yet I never caught it.
Eventually some people started to say something, but I simply would walk away from them or when they'd say "where's your mask", and I'd simply answer that I didn't have one and move away.
I decided I wasn't going to do it anymore, and I was prepared to be fired over it. But I was also in management, and someone who was very necessary to the business so that may have had something to do with how I got away with it.

The covi-d regulation has been dropped off in my country but the mandatory masks and vaccines still continue. It could be my prejudice that vaccines and masks are profit matters.

If the regulations are dropped off do you mean people are wearing them voluntarily? Or maybe you mean companies are making people due to policy?
And the vaccines for CERTAIN are high profit makers. The masks are too I'm sure, but I think of the masks as more of a way to "signal" your position on the issue.

For instance, in the USA many of the people who are still CHOOSING to wear the masks belong to the left-side of the political divide, and they want people to know that.
There are other people who have genuine fear and continue to wear them too though.
Oddly, the ONLY place I've had to wear a mask in the past year was my doctors office.

oh I see, I watch the US mid term election and the house split win with the democrat. I think democrat is leftish today.

Here in Indonesia, the leftish is not seen clearly because the state constitution prohibit teaching communism and all communist parties. The history in 1948, and 1965, the communist party (PKI) tried to coup de' etat but failed. The military took control. After that the member of the representative announced the constitution to ban communist party and its underbow organization.

But today, some left activists smuggled in some ruling parties and tried to create constitutions based on its big brother , CCP.

Yes leftism is often associated with communism. In the US the democratic party is considered left/liberal/progressive/socialist, and more recently has started to embrace some of the ideals of communism.
Republican is considered right-wing/conservative/capitalists and are often called fascists, but they really don't have any fascist beliefs.

The problem with communism is it's track record of killing millions of people wherever it's put into effect, and the fact that it always maintains an elite/wealthy class despite being created in opposition to that.
But also, the way it perpetuates itself is to sow unrest. Usually it's about convincing various racial, ethnic, or religious identities that they are being oppressed. Eventually convincing all of the lower or even middle class that they are being oppressed by the wealthy and the government. Communism has some good ideals, but it also has almost a religious sense of righteousness where they know better than everyone else.

On the other hand, capitalism eventually leads to problems as well. In the USA major corporations achieve a top position, and then start lobbying the government for higher regulations that prevent competition from forming. Also social-media sites push ideologies and suppress other ones. They also censor on behalf of the government as a way of getting around constitutional laws that prevent the govt from doing so.
This is why I think nationalism has a place. Because it can curtail capitalism's tendency of doing harm to a country simply in the interest of higher profit margins.

China somehow is communist, nationalist, and capitalist lol. They definitely have expansionist aspirations too. Is China a major player in Indonesia if the govt is very anti-communism?

Indonesian govt and parlmnt are infiltrated by leftish politians. Their policy brings to the totalitarian, however, most of the the army comanders are still true nationalists. Garuda shield was a joint military training between US armies and Indonesian Armies. This training earned criticise from China. Indonesia foreign political policy in the constitution prohibit from pro or contra. The position should be in the middle. In the case of Ukraine and Russia, Indonesian govt stands in the middle position.

Interesting. Trying to be in the middle is usually a smart choice, but people always have their biases that lean one way.
