how to describe a cane corso?

got a chuckle. was asked what a cane corso was. went to fetch an image
first chuckle was 'mountain for scale'
realised there was ALSO a #t-rex-skull-for-scale

basically, think of a small horse, make it stockier
a pony.. like ... a shetland .. but ... stockier
