When they "cite the experts" these are the kinds of people they are talking about. Progressives will focus on some social justice movement or some emotional perspective when challenged on their political and economic views. Economically, progressives don't have real solutions except blaming evil corporations for everything. If a green energy project fails, they blame corporations. If a dirty industry suffers, like when an oil pipeline breaks, they will blame corporations. They'll always blame and then offer half-assed solutions that don't work in the long run.
