Your Feelings Are Meaningless

Sometimes you just should not have to care anymore. The concern about not offending someone in 2023 is meaningless. No one cares, truly. What people are more concerned about is not someone's feelings but what they say or do that may be perceived as acceptable or popular. If not hurting certain groups of people's feelings are not popular, they will hate you. If you make fun of their target, like white Christian straight males for progressives, they will praise you. It's just an example... In the end, I respond by not caring about their feelings and saying and doing what I need to say or do.

Passions are at their highest. This is not a time of peace, but everyone is at war-- parents, college students, everyone will have to stand for their principles and values now. If you don't keep and preserve those values and principles today, then it will probably prove very bad things about you.
