Macro Photography Round 134
When I was taking this photograph, a tiny creature, an insect, was standing in front of the camera lens. We may not give it much importance at first glance, but when the camera's micro lens enlarges its body and brings it before our eyes, we are amazed at how perfectly nature has created this small creature. The tiny structure of the insect is also captured. The picture shows the insect's brown body with its rough shell and strong legs with which it clings to the branch. Its movement on the reddish branch seems to have brought life to it. The insect's two large black eyes are clearly visible, where it is understood that it is carefully observing its surroundings.
The insect seen in the picture is actually a type of weevil. Its body is long and its head is slightly long and curved. It has a special type of proboscis-like organ in its mouth with which it finds food. They are mainly herbivores, especially living on tree branches, leaves or grains. In agriculture, they are often considered harmful insects because they destroy crops. However, they also have a role in the balance of nature.
While taking this picture, I felt that just as a common person does not pay much attention to insects in their daily lives, the camera's eye teaches us that there is great beauty in even the smallest things. The detailed design of an insect's body, the color of its shell, the shape of its eyes, everything proves how delicate nature's craftsman is. Look, we see insects every day, but we rarely get the opportunity to see them like this. When caught by the camera's eye, we understand how delicate their bodies are. This small creature is also living in its own way, looking for its own food, and becoming a part of nature.
