A strange illusion in the solitude of the rooftop on a wet night

Going to the rooftop at night to get some relief from the mechanics of busy life is one of my favorite things to do. When the daily boredom and noise bring fatigue, a piece of calm sky acts like a refreshing drink. Tonight too, I went up to the rooftop to witness a strange and magical atmosphere.

As soon as I looked up, my eyes were caught by the moon. A soft silver light was pouring from behind the clouds. The moon would sometimes hide itself a little in the clouds and then emerge with an unmistakable radiance. I didn't realize how much time had passed while watching this play of moonlight, completely fading the darkness of the night. The group of light clouds floating in the sky seemed to be playing a sweet game of hide and seek with the moon.

When the moonlight fell on the rows of trees below, the surrounding environment seemed even deeper and calmer. The sound of the city's crickets and the gentle breeze blowing from afar bring a different kind of peace to the mind. In this modern, busy city, we often forget to enjoy these small beauties of nature. Yet, there is absolute joy hidden in these simple moments.

The feeling of standing alone in the silence of the rooftop and enjoying the silvery glow is different. When the wind hit me, it felt like all the sadness accumulated in my mind was disappearing. I could not resist the temptation to capture this unearthly play of light and darkness of the clouds and the moon on my mobile camera. Although it is difficult to fully portray the true form and atmosphere of that moment in the frame of the picture, I still made a small attempt to retain it as a memory.

This luxury of the rooftop at night made me realize anew how necessary it is to stop the rush of life and stand still for a while. Spending even a little time in the presence of nature fills the mind with new energy. This wonderful combination of silvery glow and peaceful environment has truly made my night a unique and wonderful memory.
