This is my entry for week 196. I decided to do a cover of jani kusa by Abel Namadi.

Abel Namadi is from Southern Kaduna in Nigeria, but he was born in Yola, Adamawa State. He has a first degree in Psychology from Nasarawa State University, Keffi. He is a music director and a vocal coach. He loves learning and has a humble, teachable spirit. He is a man of integrity and strong principles, with a deep understanding of the power of prayer and living rightly with God.

His song “Jani Kusa (Draw Me Close)”, released in 2023, is a song of intimacy inspired by a strong desire to stay in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The song has brought many testimonies and continues to bless lives. This is one of my favorite songs that I love singing and listening to over and over again. It inspires and motivates me.

Abel Namadi believes fully in God’s ability to raise a generation of young people to spread the gospel. He is a man of prayer, and he has successfully passed on that same burning passion to many who have encountered him.
