The coffee example!

Hello everyone.

The topic overpopulation is here and there from time to time content of contributions.
The worries and needs of individuals are also expressed.
But what is mostly missing is actually the right idea of this situation.
(With it I do not want to assert that I have the "right" idea of it!!!).

But I always draw on my coffee example in such conversations.

What has coffee to do with overpopulation?

First of all nothing at all. Helps us get a better idea though.

Here once numbers:

This is the population of the European Union.

Approximately 450 million inhabitants.
For comparison, here is the coffee consumption of some countries:

That's huge, isn't it? Who would have thought that.

Let's start from the back and make a calculation:

Of the "European residents also drink a lot of tea - so no coffee.
So let's just subtract 50 million.
That leaves us with 400 million.
From that, we subtract 100 million children and still have 300 million.
(Children shouldn't drink coffee yet, should they?).

Then we still have the sick, the old and, and, and....
So we subtract another 50 million.
That leaves us with 250 million.
Now we add "unforeseen" and "incalculable" and another 50 million are gone.
The rest are 200 million coffee drinkers.

Only in the European Union!

I personally enjoy about 3 cups a day.
But we'll leave it at just 2 cups for our example.

That means - 400 million cups of coffee every day.

In fact, I think that's still deeply stacked.
If you consider how many pensioners alone sit in coffee shops and bakeries and drink coffee.

Imagine now once the expenditure which you have, if you make yourselves a cup coffee.
The energy costs you incur are the lowest costs.
The production - until the coffee is in your cupboard - is much more significant.
There are countless films, reports and documentaries about the production of coffee - what it takes, how it is made, how much water is used, etc., etc., etc.

With these numbers, quite different contexts come to light now when talking about the utilization and overpopulation of our planet, don't they?

Daily approx. 400 million cups of coffee

and that only in the EU world-wide come there completely different numbers!!!

Do you now sit in the morning at breakfast and drink a cup of coffee?
Have you already brushed your teeth?
Do you have sweatpants on, or already your work clothes?
Do the children grow out of their clothes again, because they grow so fast?

There are a lot of other questions that come to light here that help to think about the population.
One could write a whole book.
But with examples like these, you can better understand and comprehend reality, can't you?

Das Kaffee-Beispiel!

Hallo Allerseits.

Das Thema Überbevölkerung ist ja hier und da immer mal wieder Inhalt von Beiträgen.
Auch die Sorgen und Nöte der Einzelnen kommen dabei zum Ausdruck.
Was aber meist fehlt, ist eigentlich die richtige Vorstellung von dieser Situation.
(Damit möchte ich nicht behaupten, dass ich die "richtige" Vorstellung davon habe!!!)

Aber ich ziehe in solchen Gesprächen immer mein Kaffe-Beispiel heran.

Was hat Kaffee mit der Überbevölkerung zu tun?

Zunächst einmal gar nichts. Hilft uns aber einen besseren Überblick zu bekommen.

Hier einmal Zahlen:

Das ist die Bevölkerung der Europäischen Union.

Ca. 450 Millionen Einwohner.

Zum Vergleich hier mal der Kaffeverbrauch einiger Länder:

Das ist gewaltig, oder? Wer hätte das gedacht.

Wir zäumen jetzt das Pferd einmal von hinten auf und stellen eine Berechnung an:

Von den "Europäischen" Einwohnern trinken auch viele Tee - also keinen Kaffee.
Ziehen wir also einfach mal 50 Millionen ab.
Bleiben uns noch 400 Millionen.
Davon ziehen wir 100 Millionen Kinder ab und haben noch 300 Millionen.
(Kinder sollten noch keinen Kaffee trinken, oder?)

Dann haben wir noch Kranke, Alte und, und, und....
Also ziehen wir noch einmal 50 Millionen ab.
Verbleiben uns noch 250 Millionen.
Nun kommt "Unvorhergesehenes" und "nicht kalkulierbares" noch dazu und weg sind weitere 50 Millionen.
Der Rest sind 200 Millionen Kaffeetrinker

Nur in der Europäischen Union!

Ich persönlich genieße ca. 3 Tassen täglich.
Aber wir lassen es bei unserem Beispiel bei nur 2 Tassen.

Das bedeutet - täglich 400 Millionen Tassen Kaffee.

Ich glaube sogar, das das noch tief gestapelt ist.
Wenn man bedenkt wieviele Rentner allein in den Kaffeestuben und Bäckereien sitzen und Kaffee trinken.

Stellt Euch jetzt einmal den Aufwand vor den Ihr habt, wenn ihr Euch eine Tasse Kaffee macht.
Die Energiekosten von Euch sind dabei die geringsten anfallenden Kosten.
Die Herstellung - bis der Kaffee bei Euch im Schrank ist - ist hier um ein vielfaches Bedeutender.
Es gibt unzählige Filme, Berichte und Dokumentationen über die Herstellung von Kaffe -
was dafür alles nötig ist, wie es gemacht wird, wieviel Wasser dafür verbraucht wird usw. usw. usw.

Bei diesen Zahlen kommen jetzt schon ganz andere Zusammenhänge zu Tage, wenn man über die Auslastung und Überbevölkerung unseres Planeten spricht, oder?

Täglich ca. 400 Millionen Tassen Kaffe

und das nur in der EU- Weltweit kommen da ganz andere Zahlen zustande!!!

Sitzt Ihr nun Morgens beim Frühstück und trinkt eine Tasse Kaffee?
Esst Ihr 1- oder 2 Brötchen?😀😉😉
Habt Ihr euch schon die Zähne geputzt?
Habt ihr eine Jogginghose an, oder bereits eure Arbeitskleidung?
Wachsen die Kinder wieder aus ihren Anziehsachen, weil sie so schnell wachsen?

Hier kommen noch ganz andere Fragen zu Tage, die dazu beitragen über die Bevölkerung nachzudenken.
Man könnte ein ganzes Buch schreiben.
Abere mit solchen Beispielen kann man die Realität besser begreifen und nachvollziehen, oder?

Lasst Euch aber davon nicht den Tag verderben und bleibt gesund.
Ach ja... genießt euren Kaffee😀😀😀
