My Journey So Far

Hi Everyone
Trust you're all doing well, I think this will be my favorite contest so far because I have a lot to offload.

January was kinda dry because it's after Christmas and all that comes with December(end of the year). I celebrated my 25th birthday with a few friends; I'd say it was one of my best birthdays. I met one of the trending content creators at that time on my birthday (sammydee).

February went well too but I got my heart broken from a relationship I should have ended a long time ago before then but I was recovering slowly, it got worse on 14th February😂

March was just there, nothing bad, just good vibes, focusing on studies and preparing for the first semester 200L exam.

April came with good news, I was selected to participate in a scholarship examination sponsored by the ORO union. To make it that far means I was qualified. I just needed to write an examination, then an interview with the board, which is the final stage. Also, April was my siblings(baby sis and brother) birthday; they are twins. We didn't throw a party, but they enjoyed their day.

Hmmmm .....May I was called for my examination but I was given a wrong address unknown to me anyway until the D-Day when I went to my supposed exam center and my exam number wasn't reflecting, calls were made and it was discovered that I was supposed to write my own exam in my local government council, as at this time, it was already too late, the ride from my residential area to the examination is roughly 3hrs, so there's no way I would have made it that opportunity of scholarship passed. I was sad, but amidst my sadness, I met someone. At first, he was a friend, and then we became fond of each other. He and his family actually introduced me to Hive Blockchain, and I'm really grateful for it, which means I joined Hive this May.

June was filled with laughter and joy, My friend and I decided to take things to the next level, there's no point pretending, we were so fond of each other, we had so many things in common, a great level of compatibility, and nice communication flow, so yes I was taken once again ✌️

July was quiet. I got a job as a security guard at a shopping mall, Dechoice precisely, and I started working. It was a tedious one, leaving the house by 7am, getting home by past 10pm....yup, that's what I signed up for.

By August I quit because one of those nights I almost got robbed, but God saved me, and my mom insisted I quit. That same August, our compound, or should I say street, was invaded by robbers, people's phones, money, and other valuables were taken, and guess what? Our house was invaded, but they took nothing, and my family and I were the only lucky ones. That's because my mom and siblings left for camp that afternoon, and I was in school attending night class in preparation for my exam the next morning. I came home to a crowded street and compound, people crying, it was a pity.
I was so thankful to God.

September was chaotic, school got hectic, we went on health trips at Local Health Centers(it was a departmental thing) which was our assessment and exam. Our theory exam pattern was changed to CBT completely, which automatically made every other exam we wrote before then invalid.

October came and left smoothly. At least I got time to rest from the school huddle. I spent my holiday at my paternal grandmother's house, and it was fun. We also celebrated her birthday on the 20th.

And here is November, school has resumed, although my department hasn't resumed lectures, and lest I forget, I'm in 300L currently, it feels amazing.

Generally, the year has been eventful for me, and I also got to improve on my cooking skills, did my first Aso-ebi duty, ate pizza for the first time, served in lots of events as an usher, and met amazing personalities.

I still have December tho, I'm sure it'd be a glamorous one.
