Why My Phone Means So Much To Me | LOH #234

Hello Friends of Hive and ladies of Hive community. I hope you are all doing great. Throughout this week I was really unhappy because I accidentally broke my phone screen again at work. This time around it fell from my hand. The moment it happend I was so sad, and weak . This is the second time this year that my phone screen has broken. The first time was around February.

The phone I'm using is Vivo Y17s, I received it as a gift from my husband a few days after our wedding. We got married on the 21st of October, 2023, and our anniversary will be two years this year. I started using this phone on January 1st, 2024, after my previous phone Itel P10 got spoiled due to a battery issue. I brought this Itel phone in the year 2019 at the cost of 23,000

This Vivo Y17s phone has really helped me a lot when it comes to blogging on Hive. It was what I used in shootings my video, it has a good quality camera. Aside from that I downloaded WPS office on it in order to write my blog before posting on Hive using ecency. I even used it to watch movies on YouTube and Netflix. Because I love movie a lot.

Now that the screen is broken again, I feel very unhappy because this phone is one of the gifts I truly cherish and love. I haven’t repaired it yet, I'm still managing it to write this blog because my plan is to fix it and keep it at home. Then I'll start using a Tecno phone for daily use while I only use my Vivo Y17s at home to write blogs and shoot videos. Although I’m not a big fan of Tecno, my plan is to do everything possible to protect my lovely Vivo Y17s.

I can totally relate to how you feel!
Accidentally breaking your phone screen, especially when it’s something you really value, can be so disheartening. I get how frustrating it is when something important like your phone gets damaged. The fact that it was a gift from your husband makes it even more meaningful, so I completely understand why you’re feeling upset. It’s not just a phone , it’s a reminder of a special time in your life.

It’s great that you’re still managing to write your blog despite the broken screen. That shows your dedication! Your Vivo Y17s sounds like it’s been really helpful for your blogging and videos, and I love that you have a plan to protect it. It’s also nice that you’re not just leaving the phone behind but planning to give it a safe place at home while you use the Tecno for daily tasks.

With years of rugged use in mobile smartphone sometimes I wonder why no one has developed a shatter proof screen yet considering the state of mobile technology making leaps and bounds. It's common problem each of us face at one time or another. 🤔
