I'd say Gerhard Schröder and Merkel made Germany dependent on Russian gas and on China's markets, which caused rising energy prices. Life in Germany became increasingly expensive for the lower middle class causing discontent. The migration crisis in 2015 & Covid in 2020 further socially divided the country. People who were against (Muslim) immigration, lockdowns or vaccines, were vilified. Those people (25% of the population and growing) were stigmatised as far-right, extreme right, fascist or outright nazi. And the propaganda against this section of the population is becoming increasingly aggressive.

How do you think Germany can get out of its current economic crisis?
Very difficult. Build nuclear power plants, deregulate the economy. Create conditions so that qualified and/or rich people immigrate to Germany.
