CRAWLING BACK TO HIVE

Before re-introducing my return to Hive, I was unsure whether it was necessary to drop a quote. However, after scrolling through and reading some of my favorite quotes, I decided against it because doing so would imply that I have been inconsistent with the blog—which is true—which is why I am keeping them.

I joined in late 2021, specifically in the month of December, and I was entirely glued to only one community until I saw the light by visiting numerous communities. I've had the pleasure of experiencing thrilling times on Hive and sharing the blog with close friends and even strangers.

During my time on Hive, I assumed that the majority of my friends would come and go from the blog and eventually leave it, while the majority would continue to rise in status.

My little absence from the blog stretched on for so long that when I returned, I realized that Life moves extremely quickly and that most of my friends had moved on while I was unable to locate some of them. I probably didn't anticipate that I would come and go from the blog.

National duty in my country had enthralled me thoroughly that I had been so inactive on the blog, but for every relationship that we cherish, we must try to back to our lover which is this case is HIVE and see if we can work things out again.

Yet, going back to my beloved (HIVE) would imply that I had changed in order to resume being constant and never leaving the blog. I therefore reasoned that after more than a year on the Hive, some housework would be necessary, beginning with my profile:

HEADER CHANGE

My hive username is @gone-hive, which I genuinely enjoy, but my previous header, "KENECHUKWU," which is my native name, appeared to have lingered too long and it was absolutely time for something fresh. El Mejor, which translates to "THE BEST," came to mind after searching for the ideal header. I had to change my profile image as well, and this time I wanted something different from the usual actual photo.

CLEARING FOLLOWERS AND FOLLOWING

I saw that most of the users on the blog had been inactive for a very long time as I browsed through my followers and those I followed, which is why I don't engage with the blog as much as I should. A fresh start wouldn't be a bad idea, even if it meant beginning with a tiny number of interactions; this time, however, it would be successful in helping me establish the type of engagement base I need because my interaction level had substantially decreased.

FOCUSING ON SPECIFIC COMMUNITIES

In order to focus on the specialty that I truly love on the Hive Blog and quickly extend back to the majority of the communities that I would be unsubscribing from, I was really persuaded to reduce the majority of my community memberships after returning to Hive. It would work well for my daily blog routine.

I think I'm prepared to retry and put all of my focus towards making it succeed, hopefully crawling back to Hive to stay.
