Meme dump time. It's been a while

I kind of fell out of the meme game because even though it has some safeguards in place 9gag became a bastion for political propaganda and that was most unfortunate. The whole reason why I was going to that instead of traditional social media was to avoid that crap yet it found a way through the cracks. Thankfully it is only a matter of time before the masses are able to block, report, downvote, and get rid of the people doing it... but they just make new accounts. I often wonder what the life is like for a person that does this all day every day. It must be very lonely and depressing

Anyway, it took a while but here are the ones that I saw that impacted me or I found meaningful and as always, they are mostly related to dogs.

I have been a social drinker since college. I"m glad I was a social drinker in college because I had a great time and it made me extroverted, a quality that is very useful in life. However, after a while it becomes the only way you can hang out and when you start to be a bit overweight this is a bad thing. I often tell people that I am not drinking that day but then I'll be somewhere and go in for "just one or two" and th next thing I know I am tipsy and heading home.

Plus i think Finding Nemo is one of the best animated films of all time.

Speaking of getting older: I really don't ike to do things late anymore. It seems as though most of the "fun" that happens in this town and most other ones doesn't even start until very late. I do not like this and don't understand why it is like that for people that are not in college. I miss a lot of things because of this but I feel as though almost nothing good happens past midnight.

I have a few friends that aren't drunks but there aren't many of them. I have this one friend who is hyper-dedicated to fitness and diet and I have to say, it is very boring to be around him. The only thing the dude ever thinks about or talks about is diet and exercise. I send him memes like this because that is how he lives his life. Me? I would never even try it because there is no chance I would stick to it. I enjoy sleeping far too much.

It doesn't matter if it is 4am or 4pm, whether she is right beside me or in the other room. If I make a sound in the kitchen Nadi is right there next to me in no time, curious about what it is that we are going to have to eat now even if I am just getting a glass of water. I say that here eyes and ears are getting bad as she gets older but this somehow doesn't seem to apply to anything that happens near the refrigerator.

Living abroad in a place where you do not speak the local language makes doing everyday things seem like a mountain to climb. Things like going to the bank or to the mobile phone shop seem like massive excursions that are going to be a huge pain. I know they are not as bad as I make them out to be but I also feel as though I have been made lazier by the fact that basically everything can be delivered for a small fee these days. Therefore, whenever I go and do the sorts of things that everyone in the world just does on a regular basis, if feel as though I deserve an award.

This is just cute. I love it when Nadi will walk around for a long period of time completely unaware or uncaring that one of her ears are inside out.

I had to look this up to make sure the internet wasn't just attributing a quote to someone that never said that but this is indeed a real quote from the real Jim Carrey. He's right you know. While wealth would do wonderful things for those that are financially struggling it really is true what they say about having money brings about a whole different world of problems that didn't exist before you had it. Some the most famous and wealthy people have suicided themselves. I personally knew one of these famous people in Dave Mirra, if you even know who that is: he was the most famous BMX rider of all time. He made millions of dollars doing something cool for a living. He was on TV all the time, had tons of adoring fans and never ever needed to worry about money again. He shot himself in the head in his car one day outside of his mansion.

So what is the answer then Jim? I don't know the answer to that and I don't think anyone else does either. Maybe it is better to not dwell on it too much.

I know one thing that is kind of the answer: Dogs. The relentless and unconditional love that you get from them is something that I don't think can be replicated by many other things if anything at all. If I am having a bad day and as soon as I open the door Nadi is all over me I come to the conclusion very quickly that things aren't that bad. We can learn a lot from dogs: They live the same routine day in and day out and they love every minute of it... except for baths...baths are bad!

If you have any memes to share back I would always appreciate the ability to add to my ever-growing collection of absolute shite filling up my hard drives.

Money may not be the answer but I sure wouldn't mind having some while I figure it out. You can keep the fame.

How are you, friend? I hope you are well. The words you are saying are actually very important. Many people do not pay attention to them and ignore them. The posts you are making are actually something we have to accept and move forward.

Oh look a beer! LOL. Kinda sounds like I used to be. I love beer. Cant drink as much as I used to though due to medicine. But still have one or two now and then.

Really get the not wanting to do anything later in the day. Especially into the late night. Used to be able to stay up all night partying and work the next day. Now I can't stay awake for the nightly news.

I feel you on the dog and the kitchen. Mine are the same way.
