Pulse Picks: AFC East & North Predictions for 2025

A_dramatic_NFL_game_scene_feat.jpeg

The AFC is always a battleground. The East has become a heavyweight fight — with Josh Allen, Tua’s rollercoaster, and Rodgers hoping he’s not washed. Meanwhile, the North is just violent football poetry: Lamar juking linebackers, Joe Burrow firing lasers, and the Steelers being… well, the Steelers.

Let’s dive into the AFC East & North and see who’s got that championship DNA.

AFC East Predictions

1. Buffalo Bills (Pulse: 🟢 High)

Josh Allen is still a cheat code, and despite some offseason turnover, the Bills remain the most complete team in the East. The defense has enough bite, and Allen’s connection with Diggs is still one of the NFL’s most dangerous combos.
Prediction: 12–5, division champs.

2. Miami Dolphins (Pulse: 🟡 Medium)

When Tua is healthy, they’re electric. When he’s not, this team falls apart like cheap crypto coins in a bear market. I see them as a playoff team if Tua stays upright.
Prediction: 10–7, Wild Card.

3. New York Jets (Pulse: 🔴 Low)

Rodgers can still spin it, but let’s be real — that Achilles injury isn’t going to vanish overnight. The Jets defense is scary, but I just don’t trust their offense over 17 games.
Prediction: 9–8, on the bubble.

4. New England Patriots (Pulse: 🔴 Low)

New coach, new QB, new headaches. The Pats are in full rebuild mode, and unless Brady walks through that door, they’re finishing last.
Prediction: 6–11.

AFC North Predictions

1. Baltimore Ravens (Pulse: 🟢 High)

If Lamar stays healthy, this team is the real deal. Zay Flowers is primed for a breakout, and the defense remains ferocious. The North runs through Baltimore.
Prediction: 12–5, division champs.

2. Cincinnati Bengals (Pulse: 🟡 Medium)

Joe Burrow can drag any team into the playoffs, but that O-line still makes me nervous. Expect another explosive season, but I see them as a Wild Card team this time.
Prediction: 11–6.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers (Pulse: 🟡 Medium)

The Steelers are a gritty 9–8 type of squad — solid defense, flashes of offense, and a coach who just refuses to lose. They’ll make noise but might fall short of January football.
Prediction: 9–8.

4. Cleveland Browns (Pulse: 🔴 Low)

I don’t trust this team. Deshaun Watson’s play is inconsistent, and their chemistry feels off. They’ll steal a few games but won’t be a threat.
Prediction: 7–10.

AFC East & North Recap

  • Division Winners: Buffalo Bills & Baltimore Ravens
  • Wild Cards: Miami Dolphins & Cincinnati Bengals
  • On the Bubble: Jets & Steelers

Next Up: AFC South & West

Next time, we’re tackling the AFC South (a division no one seems to want to win) and the West — can Mahomes keep carrying a roster that feels more B- than A+?
Stay tuned for some hot takes and at least one spicy upset pick.
