It's that time of year again, when we go camping for a week to celebrate the Holy days of Sukkot!

...rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. Leviticus 23:40

We live in "temporary dwellings" (or sukkot) for seven days, then on the eighth day, we gather and have a big party. It's just a few days away!

How is Sukkot this year? SHOFAR so good, it's "in tents". LOL.

I've been blowing my "shofar" or trumpet each day to call the assembly. My personal assistant has been carrying it around for me.

One of our fellow campers shot a deer with a cross-bow and we all shared the bounty. It was delicious.

This is also known as a "feast" day, and yes indeed it's a feast.

we play some games at night too, very fun. Breakfasts are great too.

Meals are quite the production, but totally worth it.

It's day 5 of 7, plus the eight day. Then we pack up and return home to our own beds.
