Grateful for Premium Unleavened (not Unleaded) Bread

Our family is enjoying a special week, where we abstain from normal bread and yeasted products, and enjoy unleavened bread.

The bread is very easy to make, just flour and water, some salt and oil in a fry pan on the stove. We don't normally cook with olive oil, but because the temperature never reaches too high, it's not unhealthy.

This special bread was the center-piece of the seder earlier this week. Now we're coming up with creative ways to make unleavened bread: raisin bread, cinnamon sugar bread and my favorite: toasted sesame bread. Yum!

In ancient times, the unleavened bread would have been made from barley. I've never had barley bread, but I would imagine it's not as good as the wheat bread we're enjoying now.

Have you ever tried home-made unleavened bread?

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

Add the word "premium" to most types of food and they would sound more delicious, not to mention the word "unleaded" which makes it sound more healthy! 🤯😆 !WEIRD !INDEED !HUG !DIY

That is good stuff! There is a version from India you can buy in stores and is so good. Of course it's loaded with oil, that's why it's good! Those look awesome!

Oily bread sounds good, our family likes Indian food, although we have it very rarely. This is more like Egyptian style bread made with warm water giving it a unique texture. !BBH

that's a new vocabulary for me, but I think other countries have something similar with different names.

I used to eat something looked like that, we called it Canai Bread or Prata

A very simple way to make bread, even I, who's so bad in the kitchen, could do it.
I have a question: Do you cover the pan while it's cooking

Super easy and simple. I'm no wiz in the kitchen, but even I can make unleavened bread. We make with with no covering, just flip once it's grilled. Makes a nice toasty outer crust and still chewy on the inside. !BBH

It has been sometime since Liz and I were at a Seder meal..... I can't really recall if the unleavened bread was homemade or not.... I'm sure homemade is extra delicious extra special!👍😀

It's both special and delicious! Some people use the store bought matza crackers, but we prefer home-made. !BBH

Tortillas are another type of unleavened bread.

Can you eat tortillas for Passover?

Yes, tortillas are kosher for Pesach, as long as they are made out of corn (ie, maize) and not one of the grains that is expressly forbidden.

I noticed the 'unleaded' in place of 'unleavened', but I knew what you meant...lol! I love unleavened bread! I don't eat it often, but I dig it when I do! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

If only @gratefuleveryday is able to deliver unleavened and unleaded bread to you the same way that @borniet can have his laptop shipped to you, then you would surely enjoy it! 🤯🤣😂

Let's !HOPE that you find the teleporter that you sometimes mention here on Hive so that you can have @gratefuleverday's unleavened unleaded bread and @borniet's laptop to arrive instantly where you live! 🤣😂

I assume that you believe that there already is a working teleporter, though you just need to get your hands on it. 🤔

I tried to use #Ecency Search to see where you said that you know there already is a working teleportation device somewhere, though the search results don't show it. 🤯😆

Indeed, there are. Working teleportation technology (and a whole lot more) has existed and been utilized in deep-black special-access programs for many decades now.

Hrmmm...well, I know that I've mentioned it at least a few times over the last 3.5+ years on the Blockchain. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
