Mr. Fixit! What Can Be Done with a Plastic Hammer?

My boy came to me with fake glasses and a fake hammer, waiving it around. He introduced himself as "Mr. Fixit". I asked him what he's planning on fixing... but he didn't seem to know.

"I'm Mr. Fixit!" waiving the hammer around.

Daddy began listing a few things around the house that need "fixing", but Mr. Fixit seemed more interested in introducing himself and waiving his hammer, than actually fixing something around the house.

Although, he would be delighted if waiving his hammer around something broken, actually fixed it. It turns out that it actually takes more than waiving a plastic hammer to fix a problem.

But, desiring to be a Mr. Fixit can be very beneficial, both for him and for the family and for any potential future family. We could use a Mr. Fixit around the house and (Lord willing) my boy has many years ahead of him he may gain the skills to be a REAL Mr. Fixit!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

hahaha,Maybe you have a MacGyver at home, remember this movie, nothing is too big for this man, he fixes whatever, for now your son just wants attention, but that's already a good start.

I remember when I was a kid I wanted to work in construction. Not because I wanted to build but because I liked to mix cement 😅

Perhaps your son thought of that plastic hammer as a magic wand that fixes anything it is pointed out (after some manual fixing from Daddy though). 🪄🤯🤣😂 !WEIRD !INDEED !HOPE !DIY

In a few years, your son will be able to perform and repair whatever he sets out to fix.

Just keep nudging him in the right direction, and pretty soon you won't have to do any fix-it work around the house...lol! Happy Easter (I know that you celebrate on a different day), Benjamin! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
