RE: Grateful for Time with My Son

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

how far off are you from recovering what was stolen?

I have about 10% now of what I had originally. Most of that recovery was from the generosity of the community. My thief sent back a few 2nd layer tokens, about 1% of my original portfolio. No insurance or bailouts on the blockchain, it's the wild, wild web. I knew that signing up. My crypto investment was a long-term savings, really the thief stole more from my children than from me. My concerns are more immediate, pay the bills right now sort of thing.

Beast's fiat to keep the lights on.

he's going to be just fine as Gods soldier against evil

Yes, I want to train my boy to not pick up weapons, but understand that his sword will be his tongue, his shield will be his faith, his armor will be his endurance and his head-guard will be GRATEFULNESS. These have been what's keeping me going through the war and I want to be a good example for him.

Grow gardens not war.

Absolutely. And if the enemy steals the fruit of our garden, we must remember he's stealing from the owner, not the worker. Our job is to keep working and not turn our ploughs into swords and remember that vengeance belongs to God and not us. If we steal that vengeance from God, we're no better! Keep on gardening!

Great to hear it's coming back swell. As for the thief, hope he needed it more than you. What I mean is, I hope the end justifies the means for his questionable deed, but like you said, that's between him and God.

I might add that our ploughs can turn to swords if need be but hopefully it never comes to that. Best to have a sword and not use it than have to use it and not have it.

The tongue and pen are also swords.

hope he needed it more

Nobody wants to work 7 years building a following and careful investments just to have it all taken away by a thief.... however I have forgiven him and I am focusing on the future and things that are more important. I would suppose he needed it more and I hope somehow something good is done with that stolen resource - something better than if I had it still!

our ploughs can turn to swords if need be

There may be a time for that, but I hope it's not in my lifetime or the lifetime of my children.

Best to have a sword and not use it

Agreed, but in the meantime let's grow gardens not war. We need that plough for the garden!
