Classic Grocery Store: The Heart of Village Life
Hello, Hive friends! π
Today I want to share a simple yet meaningful portrait of a grocery store that still survives amidst the onslaught of modern supermarkets. This store is a real example of how small businesses remain the backbone of people's daily needs, especially in rural areas.
As seen in the picture, this store sells various daily necessities ranging from snacks, drinks, instant noodles, to other household supplies. Items are hung from the ceiling and neatly arranged on distinctive wooden shelves, adding a classic and nostalgic impression.
π Why Are Grocery Stores Important?
Accessibility: Close to home, no need to go far to the shopping center.
Affordable prices: Usually offer competitive prices.
Social Interaction: A place for local residents to chat while shopping.
Supporting MSMEs: Shopping at small stores means supporting the local economy.
I personally am always happy to see stores like this still alive and surviving. Hopefully in the future more people will realize the importance of supporting small businesses.
As usual, here I have some photos of the charm of the beauty of a grocery store in the village. I hope you are entertained by the photos I show.
Note: I am writing in Indonesian and using the help of Google translate to translate into English.
