Fungi Friday - Micro Wonders in Old Wood #FungiFriday
Today I discovered a cluster of tiny mushrooms growing on the surface of damp, old wood. They are tiny, cup-shaped with textured edges, orange-brown in color, and look truly unique under a macro lens.
These mushrooms grow in shady, damp areas, a haven for fungal colonies to thrive. Seeing them up close is like opening up a microcosm often overlooked.
These mushrooms, though small, play a vital role in the ecosystem, aiding in the decomposition process and returning nutrients to the soil.
📷 Captured using a smartphone camera, and some also using a macro lens.

Great macro photography my friend, you can photograph such a small mushroom very well.
Thank you so much, my friend! 🙏
I'm so glad you liked it.
Macro photography is challenging, but it's also fun because it can reveal tiny details that often go unnoticed.
This little mushroom really caught my eye while walking through the garden. 🍄📸
