#FungiFriday - Wood Mushrooms in a Corner of Nature š
Hello Hive friends!
This time I'm back hunting for hidden beauty behind old tree trunks and discovered some unique mushrooms growing naturally in the open.
This mushroom is a brownish-orange color with a beautiful striped pattern. This mushroom is often found on rotting wood and is known as Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor), although the one I found is more earthy and rust-colored.
The second type of mushroom is smaller and more delicate, resembling a small shell growing sideways on a tree trunk. It's pale white and has a fragile texture, yet beautiful in its simplicity.
The third type of mushroom features a bright red color, like a captivating natural painting. This is likely a young Ganoderma species, often called lingzhi mushroom in traditional medicine.
š³ I've always been fascinated by how mushrooms can be indicators of ecosystem health. They grow from decay, yet bring beauty and balance.
Note: I am writing in Indonesian and using the help of Google translate to translate into English.
