Green Grasshopper on Corn Leaf
Today I found a green grasshopper perched on a corn leaf. Its fresh green color makes it almost blend in with its surroundings. If you don't look closely, this insect might be difficult to spot due to its natural camouflage.
I slowly approached to capture the moment with my smartphone camera. The details of its body were clearly visible, especially its legs, which had small yellow spines, and its long antennae extending forward.
📷 I took this photo in my own garden, where I grow several crops, including corn. The presence of insects like grasshoppers is part of the balance of the small ecosystem around the plants.
I think the beauty of small insects like this is often overlooked. However, upon closer inspection, they possess incredible detail and uniqueness.
