PhotographyLovers || The Beauty of Mushrooms on Damp Wood

Today I want to share macro shots of small mushrooms growing on damp logs near my house. When I first saw them, I was immediately drawn to them because their texture was so soft and unique, like tiny, light orange fans clinging to the black surface of the decaying wood.
These mushrooms grow in clusters, varying in size from very small to quite large. Their growth pattern looks natural and artistic, as if nature itself were gently painting on a wooden canvas. The mossy green background adds a lively feel, balancing the warm tones of the mushrooms with the coolness of the surrounding environment.
For the final result, I did a few light edits using Photoshop Express. I simply adjusted the contrast and sharpness to make the mushrooms' subtle textures more visible, without altering their natural colors. I wanted to maintain the natural, soft feel of this small scene, as that's where their true charm lies.
Moments like this remind me that natural beauty often hides in unexpected places: between damp logs, among leaves, or even under rain shadows. With a camera and a little curiosity, we can discover incredible works of natural art. 🍄
