Stunning Corn Roots in Natural Color
Hello photography friends,
Today I want to share some interesting photographs I captured from a different perspective: corn roots. Usually, we only notice the stalks or corn kernels when they're already growing tall, but it turns out that the roots themselves hold their own beauty if we're willing to get closer and examine them in more detail.
The roots in this photo are known as stilt roots, which serve to strengthen the corn stalks, keeping them upright even in strong winds. Interestingly, these roots have a captivating color combination: yellowish green at the base, blending with gradations of red to purple, making them look like a natural work of art.
With the help of a smartphone camera and a close-up, the color details become even more apparent. The contrast between the brightly colored roots and the background soil creates a dramatic effect, as if these roots are the "fingers of life" gripping the earth to support the corn's growth.
For me, this moment is a reminder that the beauty of nature lies not only in blooming flowers or ripening fruit, but also in the small details we often overlook.
