Sunset Light and Its Shadows on a Rice Field Raund - 253

This afternoon, I paused for a moment on a newly flooded rice paddy embankment after being tilled. The sun was slowly setting, casting a soft golden hue among the thin clouds hanging in the sky. The scene felt so serene and refreshing, a typical rural atmosphere that always soothes the heart after a day of activities.
What caught my attention most was the reflection of the sunlight on the surface of the rice paddy water. The light formed a straight line from the sky to the ground, as if connecting the upper and lower worlds in perfect harmony. This reflection created the impression of two suns, one in the sky and one on earth.
I deliberately waited a few minutes until the sun was in the right position to capture its perfect reflection in the water. That's when I took this photo, trying to maintain a natural feel without much editing. The slightly dim sky and the soft cloud shadows actually added a dramatic touch to the final result.
For me, moments like this are a reflection of life. Sometimes we need to pause, gaze at our reflection in serenity, and realize that beauty doesn't always come from bright things—sometimes it comes from the shadows and simplicity of our surroundings. 🌾
