I think the idea was good, and the director did something similar with "The Barbarian," giving the story different time points, which converge in the end, but as the other movie, the ending was a bit predictable and normal. Now let's see his version of "Resident Evil" ehhe

Yeah. I've seen several reviewers say the same about this movie and “The Barbarian.” The ending was predictable. I think it's how the story went, connecting the incident with some of the characters specifically, and the different tone to horror the movie that did more for it.
