Another Dip into the Variety Pack with a Pilsner

Or so the old Stevie Wonder song started out and that is exactly the song my heart sang when I poured this beautiful Pilsner from my variety pack by Highland Brewing Company of Asheville, North Carolina.

There are four different beers in this variety pack which I am very much enjoying these #beersaturday nights.

I am sitting here all alone in my very private personal beer garden tonight. The Mrs. @handofzara has gone for a walk and I have gone for a beer in peace and quite.

Yesterday, was a big day for me and the Mrs. @handofzara. Our youngest graduated from University!

When he turned the tassel, I leaned over and whispered in her ear, "We is DUN! D U N spells done!"

All of our children have now graduated from college, and our daughters are married.

So yep, I is DUN!

Well, not really completely finished, however, the Mrs. @handofzara and I have accomplished the major goals and obligations as far as raising our children.

Time to pour a cold one and think, dang I am old and tired but, did I mention, I is DUN!

APPEARANCE: pale gold, medium foamy head, clear
AROMA: malts
TASTE: crisp malts well balanced with solid bitterness of hops
MOUTHFEEL: light body, carbonates well, dry finish, bitters linger

Yep a perfect beer for a perfect evening to reflect on the past almost thirty years of raising children.

I wonder will they ever call? Dang it sure is suddenly quite around here. I need to get a hobby or something.
