Headed For The Coast

Well not really, but with the Spring Days we have been having, soon enough my friends, soon enough!

I am continuing my #beersaturday sampling of a variety pack of IPAs brewed by Wicked Weed Brewing.

With the sudden arrival of Spring, I spent most of my day in the garden, cleaning out the beds and seeding some lettuce, radishes, peas and beans. My potatoes have been planted for some time and are coming along nicely.

After a long day working in the warm Carolina Sun there is nothing finer than a cold beer.

BEER NAME: Coastal Love
STYLE: India Pale Ale
ABV: 6.3%
BREWER: Wicked Weed Brewing of Asheville, North Carolina
APPEARANCE: deep gold, small foamy head, and cloudy
AROMA: hops
TASTE: hops with a hint of lime reminds me of 7-UP
MOUTHFEEL: medium body, light carbonation and smooth finish, the lime lingers

I have not always been a fan of IPAs but I am enjoying the Wicked weed variety pack. I also get why these beers are so popular. These are great sipping beers and the Coastal Love with the hint of citrus makes it especially enjoyable.

Aw yah those sampler/taster/variety packs are good times and great subject matter for #beersaturday posts.

I would DEFINITELY pick this one off the shelf for enjoyment and review.
