The story of life, livelihood and a peddler.

This morning's story is a little different. I left for the office in a hurry like every day. The familiar traffic jam of the mechanical city. Amidst the hustle and bustle of people and the surrounding noise, my eyes suddenly caught sight of a corner of the street. A middle-aged man was walking in the scorching sun with a wooden branch hanging from his neck. Betel nuts and zarda boxes arranged on the branches, as we can see in the attached picture.

I stopped for a moment when I saw him. Despite the glamorous life around us, jobs in air-conditioned rooms, and the assurance of a good salary at the end of the month, a large section of people live in this city. For those whose every day begins with an uncertain struggle. Take the case of this paan seller, this basket on his shoulder is not just a collection of paan, it is actually the dream and survival of his entire family. Looking at his face, I realized that although he was tired, there was a strange light of honesty in his eyes. Walking for miles, enduring the sun and rain, he was not just selling paan; he was actually selling his labor This relentless effort to earn a living through honest means is the greatest beauty of life. Many in our society may consider them very ordinary or insignificant, but if you think deeply, you will understand. These are the real fighters of society. It is not an easy task to survive in this difficult city without getting caught and maintaining your self-respect.

While we get frustrated and complain about life when we get little, these people take to the road every day with a heart full of hope. At the end of the day, they might even make a little money. That's how the family somehow survives. Yet they never complain. I didn't get a chance to talk to them for a long time due to the rush at work, but this picture taken from a distance taught me a great lesson in life. Life is not just about a luxurious career or a lot of money, life is about the struggle to survive honestly, overcoming all odds. I salute all these working brothers, on whose hard work our society is functioning.
