Hello friends👭, how are you today? Hope you are doing well. I have learned great lessons this year 2022 and I will like to share one of those great lessons with you here today.
Before I proceed, I would like to explain the meaning of want and value.

Needs are basic necessities, those things that you cannot do without such as food, water, cloth and many more. Needs are essential for survival; needs are very crucial to our growth. Failure to meet your needs may result in mental or emotional illness.
Imagine a person that has not eaten for a day as a result of lack of need for food. Such a person will surely have a problem.

Want are you desire; they are things you desire to have. Wants are not essential for survival
There was a day I boarded a car of one of my friends; I felt everything from the place I boarded the car to my junction, I began to think that how to get mine. I don’t have a car up to now but I am living fine and good. That is the reason the car is a want not a need.

Everything that happens in the life of a person, happens for a reason. You might really want that thing; it might be your dream job, money, relationship, care- that is your need at that particular time.

Last 3 months, I was looking for a youth coordinator position in my party. It was a position of war because I received criticism from people that were very close to me. Even my best friends that I never imagined would criticize me came out boldly and criticized me.
It got to a point where I began to observe things in negative ways.
We were 2 shortlisted for the position: my best friends went behind me, collected bribes and became my enemies.
They stood up against me during the meeting, asking me questions like never before. In fact, one of them said, ``Chris, you do not qualify for this position, I can see that you really want the position; I knew you cannot be a good coordinator because you lacked some skills. Honorable Peter Dapo has the experience, charisma, resilience and leadership skills to do it. You are too young, you don't have the experience, you have not handled a position like this; I will advise you to step down for the person that is capable in any area to be our coordinator".

I stood up and said, well! I thank everyone here; everything you said is for the betterment of this party. One mistake can cause us to lose many things.
I want to ask you questions, does honorable Peter Dapo bring this experience, charisma, leadership skills and resilience from heaven?
He learned everything from people below and above him. There's nothing you cannot learn, that is the reason learning never ends until one die.
It simply means, since one has never been in a position before and he is not capable of competing. You are saying, if one has never been a president or governor; he should not border to contest for president or governor. If it was like that, Joe Biden wouldn't have become president. They should continue to re-elect the previous office holders such as former presidents, governors, senators, chairmen, and so on.
If so, honorable Peter Dapo wouldn't have been given a chance to lead 6 years ago, the office would have just been for office holders only.

Remember, the future of this Nation depends on the youths, because the youth will also become old. If I can't be a coordinator now, how should I become chairman or governor later?
It is a gradual process. I have a big vision for this state and country at large.
You are my fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters. I am not working alone; we are working together.

After I finished talking, one of the influential women in our party stood up and said, "I can see why this young man is capable of this position. Please, my people, we need people like this young man here in this party. We need vibrant and active young men who will claim the ladder of leadership in this state and country. Let's give him a chance".
That was how I became the local government coordinator in my party.

In pursuing your dreams or goals, you might come across things that are not palatable.
Especially, when you are about to achieve it, the opposition might be very strong to the extent you feel like giving up or quitting.
You might hide in a secret place, weeping, crying and thinking because of the opposition force against your success. You might be thinking when will this problem end? How can I end it? What should I do?
You might even try your possible best to find solutions to it, yet the challenges are still with you. It is life that gives you those problems and challenges to break you, to build you, to model you, to make you strong and to make you the better and successful person you were meant to be.

In conclusion, everything that happened to me in the process has worked out to get me to this position. That's because life has always given me what I needed when I needed it.

I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness.
