THE FLYING ABILITY AND THE SPEED OF REGAL PREYTON MAKE IT SWEET TO USE IN BATTLES


Hello splinterlands lovers, how are you today? I read a post about Splinterfest today, and I was really happy: amazing pictures and footage of the event.
The footage was about 5 hours and 22 minutes; I could not watch the whole footage.
I watched some interesting battles. Learned more about splinterlands, the card stats and many more.
Since I felt the vibe of splinterfest in my home, I can just imagine how those that bought the ticket would feel.

I failed to play splinterlands today due to my domestic work. After 8 hours of washing my clothes and other domestic work, I could not play splinterland again.
I opened my system to play, maybe I could get 2 focus chests; with all my effort, I could not get none. That was how I could not get any focus chest for today.

Since there was no focus chest for me today, I decided to use the monster of the week in a battle. With just a single battle I used REGAL PERYTON, and I won the battle. Regal peryton is a chao legion monster which is available only when using earth monsters such as lyanna natura,obsidian and many more.
Regal preyton only has one ability which is flying ability. I had used this ability to win battles on several occasions. This is what made me use this monster as the last monster in battles.

SOMETHING MAKE REGAL PREYTON A UNIQUE MONSTER
What makes Regal preyton a unique monster is its speed. Level one of regal preyton has 5 speeds and the highest level has 7.
This shows how useful this monster is in battles; especially battles that require speed.
It is well known that most of the battle rules supported high speed monsters: the chance of getting reverse rule is very narrow, and the chance of getting rules with high-speed is very high.
For instance, 2 days ago, I played more than 40 battles. 38 out of 40 were rules that required high speed monsters while only two battles needed monsters with lower speed.

You cannot enjoy regal preyton in level one because of the one magic attack. In level three, the magic monster is 2, which is good for players with lower league such as novice and silver.

RULESET

UNPROTECTED: Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from abilities or summoners buffs. With this rule, I don’t need to use any monsters with protect ability. The ability would not work because this rule has nullified the use of monsters with protect ability.


RISE OF THE COMMON: Only common and rare monsters may be used in battles.

MONSTERS ARRANGEMENT

FLESH GOLEM: Four out of my six monsters in my opponent lineup were magic. Therefore, failure to use flesh golem may not yield good results for me.
After I searched for monsters available in the battle; there was no affliction and poison monsters in it. This made me use flesh golem because there were no monsters that could stop it from healing itself.
In round two when flesh golem health was damaged to one: it was the healing ability that helped the monster to heal itself back.


SCREECHING VULTURE: This monster is very important to kill monsters with lowest health in the battle.
If not for a screeching vulture, flesh golem would have been eliminated in round one. It was a screeching vulture that killed the wood nymph of my opponent.
I knew something like this would come up, and the best solution is to use a monster with opportunity abilities such as a screeching vulture.
After elimination of wood nymph in round one, it also eliminated mycelic morphoid in the second round of the battle.


WOOD NYMPH: it was very necessary since I did not see any ability monsters in the battle collection.
You could see how wood nymph added more health to flesh golem before it was eliminated in round three.


BARKING SPIDER: I needed monsters that would attack monsters in the first position because most of the battles I played; monsters in the first position are always strong monsters.
I knew that if the monster in the first position is killed, it would be very easy to kill other monsters.
Inclusion of the barking spider was to make the attacking front very strong.


REGAL PREYTON: The magic ability was so helpful; the speed was also good. The speed made it attack faster than any other monsters in my lineup. This is the reason that monsters with high speed have an advantage over other monsters.
The attacking force of regal preyton wasn’t enough because it only damaged 1 health while my opponent regal preyton damaged 3 health per attack.


EARTH ELEMENTAL: This monster only required 3 mana.

I like Regal preyton very much. I have been using this monster in battles because of the flying ability. The flying ability allows me to use it in the last position.
There are tough battles I have won as a result of regal pryton: most of the times when I used this monster in last position, sneaking monsters missed it. The moment I saw that, I began to use this monster in the last or second to the last positions.
I thought I would be paired with powerful players just like those I have been paired with before playing this battle. Hence, I wanted to use water elemental as sacrificial lamb to sneaking monsters; then, by the time a sneaky monster attacks Regal preyton, it may miss it because of the high chance of evading melee and my experiences while using regal pryton as the last monster.
I like this monster a lot because it can be used in any position.

I don’t think I will try something different next time with this monster: I used this monster in all positions but like to use it in the second to the last or last monster.

I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness.
