Hive Voluntary Service at the Kingdom [EN/PL]
EN: Over the past year, @krolestwo (KBK) has made unimaginable progress. This is the result of the actions we’ve taken and the tremendous effort we’ve put in. Last year, we launched a Facebook campaign. This year, we carried out a full rebranding. It allowed us to reach a large number of people in Kraków and helped us boost our promotion on Instagram. As a result, the Kingdom is now much more recognizable, and it is visited by three times as many people as before we started our efforts at the beginning of 2024! Our place finally buzzes with life like a real hive!
The success of the Kingdom translates into the number of new accounts being created. But that is not the most important thing. The true potential lies in the uniqueness of the Kingdom. There is no other place in the world that uses blockchain on so many different levels. So why don’t the global tech media write about us? Why doesn’t Hive take advantage of this narrative? The answer is simple: marketing doesn’t happen on its own. To achieve the desired effect, someone has to dedicate many hours of work.
Unfortunately, no one is helping us promote the Kingdom as a place that implements Hive. And our resources are limited. Especially since someone also has to organize events, continue various renovation works, and take care of maintaining the place. However, this can change. That’s how the idea of Hive Voluntary Service was born. As part of this project, we will host a volunteer at the Kingdom, who will:
- handle the promotion of KBK as a place using Hive,
- help us explore new ways of harnessing Hive’s potential,
- organize events in the Kingdom focused on promoting Hive,
- take part in the everyday life of the Kingdom.
An important element of the project is that all living costs in Poland will be covered DIRECTLY in HBD. No conversion to USD or PLN. This will therefore be an experiment proving that almost all expenses can be paid in crypto without even having an exchange account. A Hive account will be enough. Of course, everything will be carefully documented.
The first pilot project will begin on November 8 and last for two weeks. The volunteer coming to the Kingdom will be @blind-spot. During their stay, there will also be an international Hive community meeting, which we plan to hold on November 14–16. We are already inviting everyone to join!
Note: The HBD from this post will be allocated to support the Hive Voluntary Service. Hive Power, as always, will be used to support new accounts.
PL: Przez ostatni rok @krolestwo (KBK) zrobiło niewyobrażalny postęp. Jest to wynik podjętych działań i ogromnego wysiłku. W ubiegłym roku rozpoczęliśmy kampanię na Facebooku. W tym roku przeprowadziliśmy rebranding. Pozwolił on dotrzeć do bardzo wielu osób w Krakowie i pomógł w promocji na Instagramie. W efekcie Królestwo jest bardziej rozpoznawalne i odwiedza je 3 razy więcej osób niż przed podjęciem działań na początku 2024 roku! Nasze miejsce w końcu tętni życiem jak w prawdziwym ulu!
Sukces Królestwa przekłada się na liczbę zakładanych nowych kont. Nie to jednak jest najważniejsze. Prawdziwy potencjał tkwi w unikalności Królestwa. Nie ma na świecie drugiego takiego miejsca, które wykorzystywałoby blockchain na tak wielu poziomach. Dlaczego więc światowe media poświęcone technologii nie piszą o nas? Dlaczego Hive nie wykorzystuje tej narracji? Odpowiedź jest prosta: marketing sam się nie zrobi. Żeby osiągnąć zamierzony skutek ktoś musi poświęcić na to wiele godzin pracy.
W promocji Królestwa jako miejsca implementacji Hive nikt nam niestety nie pomaga. A nasze moce przerobowe są ograniczone. Tym bardziej, że ktoś musi też organizować wydarzenia, kontynuować różne prace remontowe i dbać o utrzymanie miejsca. Można to jednak zmienić. Tak powstał pomysł Hive Voluntary Service. W ramach tego projektu będziemy gościć w Królestwie wolontariusza, który:
- zajmie się promocją KBK jako miejsca wykorzystującego Hive,
- pomoże nam w poszukiwaniach nowych pól wykorzystania potencjału Hive,
- będzie organizować wydarzenia w Królestwie nastawione na promocję Hive
- będzie brać udział w codziennym życiu Królestwa.
Istotnym elementem projektu jest to, że wszystkie koszty życia w Polsce pokryjemy BEZPOŚREDNIO w HBD. Bez wychodzenia do USD czy PLN. Będzie to więc eksperyment, który udowodni, że prawie wszystkie wydatki można pokryć w krypto nie posiadając nawet konta na giełdzie. Wystarczy tylko konto Hive. Wszystko oczywiście będzie dokładnie dokumentowane.
Pierwszy pilotażowy projekt rozpocznie się 8 listopada i potrwa 2 tygodnie. Wolontariuszem, który przyjedzie do Królestwa będzie @blind-spot. W trakcie jego pobytu odbędzie się również międzynarodowe spotkanie społeczności Hive, które planujemy w dniach 14-16 listopada. Już teraz wszystkich na nie zapraszamy!
