My lost cell phone and it's impact on me

(Edited)

As a government official who work as an accountant in the finance and supply department, our schedules are always crazy and demanding, always working on the system and doing some ambiguous calculations.
After very rigorous working hours, I barely have time to eat.

I closed around 7 p.m. so weak and looking like an owl that lost its bearing. I dashed into my friend's car and grabbed a chill drink with a meat pie.

We were eating, chatting and laughing. I was very much carried away by our discussion, I left my cell phone on my lap and when I got to my bus stop, I just go off the car carrying two bags and a bottle of drink. I never knew my cell phone had slipped off my lap.

I arrived home standing in front of the gate and trying to deep my hand into one of the bags so that I could call my wife that I was already at the gate. I put my hand in the first bag and I could not find my cell phone, I did the same for the other bag and my cell phone was nowhere to be found.

I started sweating profusely, and I asked myself "Have I lost a cell phone that cost more than 200 HBD? I banged the gate heavily, and when my wife came out, I dropped everything that was on me and ran back to the bus stop. I was running at a pace that even "the flash" could not cash up with.

On getting to the bus stop, I could not find my phone. I was holding one other cell phone that I was using to call the lost cell phone, and all efforts to find the phone proved abortive.

I sat down at the bus stop looking so exhausted and soliloquizing like a parrot. I was at the bus stop looking and waiting if someone would show up somewhere and say have your lost cell phone.

It was already getting late, so I walked home quietly. I did not take off my shoes, clothes, and trousers. I couldn't eat as well. I was so weak and calm.

I was considering the volume of information on the phone, coupled with the rigorous process of SIM card retrieval, I kept smiling and rubbing my head repeatedly.

The following day, I walked to the police station to keep them informed and blocked my SIM card.

I was so affected by the loss of the phone that, I always sleep almost every 5 to 10 minutes. I sleep while working on the system, the same on the bus, and even while talking.

That cell phone was my close pal.

Thanks for stopping by.

Ouch....that was a lot of money you have lost through your phone. So sorry about that. Omo, the day my phone was stolen from where I was charging it, I couldn't sleep that night. I will wake up every minute checking my side and feeling that I finally lost a phone. But I found it the next day with my Dad's help.

You are very lucky to have found it back.

When phones are stolen or lost, it takes the grace of God to have them back.

Thanks for stopping by

Sorry for the lost, it happens sometimes one gets so carried away that you forget you are carrying some valuable things. That is why I always out my phone in the pocket whenever I ma in a cab. Well, I believe everything happens, no matter how careful we are, our things will still get missing. Take heart

So sorry about your phone.
That was exactly how I lost my phone at Owerri. I had answered a call and kept the phone on my bag, which was on my laps. When I was alighting from the bus i just stood up and left. And the rest was history

When you lose valuable items, one will look as if one's factory system was restored.

The stressed in retrieving sim are too much, and it can so be annoying if your most important Sim was in that phone, sorry about that dear friend, it seems you have to buy a new phone.
